Warwick Hotels to open Beirut property

Warwick International Hotels is to open a renovated property south of Beirut city centre, 15 minutes from Beirut airport.

The property is currently undergoing renovation and will open as the Warwick Pangéa Beach Resort & Spa on May 15, 2012.

A total of 70 new rooms are being added to the existing 20-villa property, along with a redesigned lobby, a new restaurant, fitness centre, tennis and squash courts, a sea activities centre and a spa.

Ahead of the Beirut opening, the group will open the Warwick Valley Winter Resort in Jordan before the end of the year.

Warwick International Hotels is a collection of over 50 properties across Europe, North America, South Pacific, Asia and Africa, including the Rembrandt Hotel and Towers in Bangkok, and the Royal Windsor Hotel Grand Place in Brussels.
