United Continental to launch Dublin-Washington DC route

9 Nov 2011 by BusinessTraveller
Hot on the heels of the announcement of a new United Continental service between Manchester and Washington DC next May, the carrier says it will also commence non-stop flights from Dublin to the US capital from June 2012. United Continental will fly daily between the two cities from June 8, 2012 (subject to government approval), adding to its existing service from Dublin to New York Newark. The new service will be operated by Continental Airlines' two-class B757-200 aircraft, featuring the carrier’s fully-flat Business First seat. Flight CO127/UA127 will depart Dublin at 1125, arriving in Washington Dulles at 1425, with the return leg leaving the US as flight CO126/UA126 at 2202, arriving back in Dublin at 0955 the following day. The news follows yesterday’s announcement that United Continental will fly daily from Manchester to Washington DC from next May, again operated by Continental B757-200 aircraft (see online news November 8).
