Air France will join Emirates in offering a daily A380 service between Paris and Dubai from next month.

The carrier has confirmed the move via a link stating “Fly to Dubai on the A380” on its homepage at airfrance.co.uk.

Currently served with B777 aircraft, the route will be operated by the carrier’s superjumbo from December 5. Flight AF3830 departs Paris at 1330, arriving in Dubai at 2300, with the return leg AF3831 leaving Dubai at 0145, landing back in the French capital at 0610.

Emirates flies twice-daily to Paris, with one frequency served by a B777 aircraft, and one with the A380. The superjumbo service EK074 departs Paris at 1425, arriving in Dubai at 2359, with the return leg leaving Dubai at 0800, landing back into Paris at 1225.

During this winter season Air France will serve five destinations with the A380: New York JFK, Johannesburg, Washington DC, Montreal and Dubai. As of December 12 all of the carrier’s superjumbos will feature Air France’s new Premium Voyageur seating (see online news October 4).
