Air France to launch A380 service to LA

28 Oct 2011 by BusinessTraveller

Air France will offer a daily A380 service between Paris CDG and Los Angeles from the end of May next year.

Superjumbo services to LA are now available for purchase at airfrance.co.uk commencing from May 28, 2012, with flight AF066 departing daily at 1030, landing in LA at 1305. The return leg AF065 will leave Los Angeles at 1550, landing back in Paris at 1120 the following day.

Air France currently serves New York and Washington with the A380, and also operated superjumbo services to San Francisco over the summer months.

As things stand the carrier will be the fourth airline to operate regular scheduled A380 services to Los Angeles, joining Singapore Airlines, Qantas and Korean Air.

Air France recently confirmed that all of its A380 aircraft will feature its Premium Voyageur seating from December 12 – see online news October 4 for more details.
