Delta Airlines has announced a partnership with Mandarin Oriental Hotel Group, enabling members of the carrier’s SkyMiles loyalty programme earn miles when staying at Mandarin Oriental properties around the world.
Under the new partnership, guests can earn 500 miles for each stay with the hotel group, defined as check in and check out rather than the number of nights spent at the property. To kick off the collaboration, guests can earn double miles – 1,000 miles – for each stay between now and December 31, 2011.
Mandarin Oriental Hotel Group is one of the few hotel groups that does not have its own loyalty programme.
