Air China announced new flights to Okinawa and Phuket, in addition to temporary reductions on some routes.
From November 18 onwards, the carrier will begin four weekly services to the popular resort destination, Phuket, operating on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays. The flights will depart Beijing at 2005, arriving in Phuket at 0045, while the return leg will depart Phuket at 0145 and arrive back in Beijing at 0750.
Then on January 11, 2012, the carrier will kick off two weekly services to Okinawa on Wednesdays and Saturdays. The flight will depart Beijing at 0820, arriving in Okinawa at 1230, while the return leg will depart Okinawa at 1330 and arrive back in Beijing at 1610.
Between November 8 and January 1, 2012, the carrier will reduce flights between Beijing and Dubai from five times a week to four times a week and flights between Beijing and Rome will go down from a daily service to six times a week from November 7 until November 13.
