South African Airways has rostered a new Airbus A330-200 aircraft onto flights between London and Cape Town, replacing the older A340-200 previously serving the route.
The two-class aircraft features fully-flat business class seats, and a new IFE system in both classes, with on-dermand movies, TV shows and games.
In economy seats are configured 2-4-2, and feature a new seat structure ”allowing more space and comfort for passengers”.
SAA offers a daily service between London Heathrow Terminal 1 and Cape Town – BA also offers a daily service using B747-400 aircraft, and Virgin Atlantic flies between the two cities during the winter season using A340-600 aircraft.
