No.1 Traveller launches airside bedrooms at Heathrow T3

5 Oct 2011 by BusinessTraveller

Lounge provider No.1 Traveller has unveiled the addition of 12 airside bedrooms to its new lounge at Heathrow Terminal 3, featuring ensuite facilities, free wifi internet access and room service.

The group is billing the offering as “the first ever open-to-all UK airside bedrooms” – that’s to say not including facilities such as the private cabanas provided by BA in its Concorde Room at Heathrow T5.

There are eight single and four twin rooms, with one having disabled access, and all offer infant cots on demand, internet phones with free international calls, an en-suite shower ‘room’, a desk and cube seat, a mini-bar, free wifi internet access, and in-room TVs offering over 25 channels.

The rooms are located next to the No.1 Traveller lounge within zone F of the lounges area at T3, above the BA Galleries and on the same level as the Servisair facility.

They are available for stays of a minimum of two hours for any travellers departing from or transferring though T3, at a cost of £20 per hour for a single or £30 for a twin room.

Note though that due to airport restrictions the rooms are not available for overnight stays, so will be of most interest to transiting passengers needing a room between the opening hours of 0430 and 2230.

The unveiling of the bedrooms follows the launch of the No.1 Traveller lounge at Heathrow T3 in August – for a detailed look at the lounge facilities click here.
