Renaissance Harbour View Hong Kong's new face

22 Sep 2011

The Renaissance Harbour View Hotel Hong Kong, located in Wanchai, has finally completed both phases of renovation, the first of which started back in 2008, refreshing every corner of the property from the upper and lower lobbies to all of the guest rooms.

Before renovation, the hotel consisted of 860 rooms and now that number has been reduced to 825 in order to facilitate a complete redesign of each room. Now, guestrooms feature dark woods and beige décor while being equipped with new technology, including wifi internet access and iPod docking stations.

Meanwhile, the lobbies and the all day dining cafe have been spruced up with more contemporary furnishings.

Furthermore, the hotel has added two additional boardrooms bringing the total number of meeting rooms to eight, up from six. Additionally, the ballroom is now divided into two rooms with the capacity for 600 guests each, which can be configured into one large facility - an option that was not previously available. All meeting facilities consist of modern audiovisual equipment.

To celebrate the hotel’s new face, Renaissance Harbour View Hotel is offering a “Suite Deal” starting from HK$16,888 (US$2,167) for a two nights’ stay in a Deluxe Harbour Suite, including round trip airport transfers, welcome champagne, an Art Gallery Tour in Soho and dinner at a the hotel’s Michelin star Chinese restaurant, Dynasty.
