Thai hotel group to open first Manila property

Thai hotel chain, Centara Hotels & Resorts, is expected to open the Centara Hotel Manila on October 18. “This is an important element in our strategy for overseas growth, and we feel the Philippines has enormous potential for us,” said Suthikiati Chirathivat, Chairman of the Executive Board, Central Plaza Hotel Public Company Limited (CENTEL).

The four-star property will feature 96 rooms, comprising 30 superior rooms, 34 deluxe rooms, 26 premium rooms, five junior suites and one executive suite. The hotel is located close to the business area of Makati, and offers a meeting room on the second floor that accommodates up to 80 persons.

The group’s other property in the Philippines is the Centara Grand Beach Resort and Spa Boracay.
