Choice Hotels has partnered with wifi network operator Bitbuzz to offer free internet access at its UK properties.
Previously the group, which includes the Comfort, Quality and Clarion brands, used a variety of internet suppliers across its UK properties, but has now confirmed Bitbuzz as the preferred supplier to its 39 hotels in the region.
Choice says it will provide free wifi internet access to a total of 2,726 bedrooms, 1,220 of which are located in the greater London area.
Commenting on the news Karen Wade, Operations Manager, Choice Hotels UK, said that “we wanted to appoint a supplier that we could recommend to our hotel owners that tied in with our brand standards, including compliance with the Digital Economy Act 2010, and the ability to provide reliable complimentary Wi-Fi.
“Bitbuzz ticked all the boxes, and we are looking forward to working with them in as many locations as possible.”
