Park Hyatt Sydney soon to unveil renovation results

8 Sep 2011

The Park Hyatt Sydney will soon emerge from a top-to-bottom renovation that resulted in its shutting down for a good portion of the year.

The refreshed product now features a fourth level to the building with three rooftop suites, offering 360-degree views of Sydney Harbour.

A new and larger day spa has also been added to the property, while conference facilities have been expanded. Additionally, The Dining Room is now the hotel’s newest al fresco restaurant, with well known Australian chef Andrew McKee at the helm.

Local artists have been commissioned to produce exclusively designed pieces to spruce up the property.

Though the exact reopening date has not been announced, general manager Andrew Mensforth, said: "We continue to target a late 2011 opening."
