Ibis Bengalaru Techpark is ready to open mid-September, the 100th ibis hotel in the Asia-Pacific region and the fourth in India. The exact opening date has yet to be confirmed.
The 332-room property, belonging to the Accor group's budget tier, is located in the city’s CBD close to the popular Garuda Mall. It will offer all basic hotel amenities, including wifi and wired internet access, two F&B outlets, a business centre and a gym.
Following the ibis Bengalaru opening, the brand has planned 16 more properties across India.
Outside of the subcontinent, the group will open another Ibis products in the Asia-Pacific by the end of this year: one in Hong Kong and another in Bandung. Two more are poised to make a debut in Vietnam and Laos by 2012.
