German charter carrier Jetisfaction is to launch scheduled flights between London Southend and Munster Osnabruck International airport at the end of October.
The airline will offer a daily service between the two airports from October 31, adding to existing flights from Munster to Zurich and Poznan.
Air Berlin currently offers flights from London Stansted to Munster, with BA codesharing on the route.
London Southend is undergoing extensive expansion plans, with a new terminal building, railway station and runway extension.
Easyjet recently announced plans to launch flights from the airport to destinations including Amsterdam, Alicante, Barcelona, Belfast, Faro, Ibiza, Malaga and Mallorca from April next year (see online news June 16), and Irish carrier Aer Arann already offers services to Galway and Waterford (see online news February 1).
