Rezidor Hotel Group will rebrand the Jan III Sobieski Hotel in Warsaw under its Radisson Blu offering later this year, with a renovation programme due to be completed by 2015.
The 435-room property is located in the southern part of Warsaw’s central business district, around 1km from the city’s main railway station, and 7km from the city’s airport.
The hotel will be Radisson Blu’s second property in the Polish capital, joining the Radisson Blu Centrum Hotel located close to the Palace of Culture and Science and the city's old town.
Rezidor says that new owners Wenaasgruppen will “continue the extensive, ongoing renovation programme, and the hotel will be completely re-vitalised in the coming years”.
Once completed the hotel will feature 467 rooms, two restaurants, a lounge, a wellness area with spa bath, sauna and gym, and a 1,400sqm conference centre.
