The Club rooms and suites of Shangri-La’s Kerry Centre Hotel in Beijing are back online after a major facelift, representing the first completed phase of the property's extensive refurbishment project.
The refreshed units, located on floors 17 to 21, feature a colour theme of grey and silver with light wood panels, 40-inch LED TV with a DVD player, a printer, a Bose SoundDock system compatible with iPods and iPhones, and a multi-socket media panel enabling guests to connect their own gadgets with the TV. All rooms are also equipped with complimentary wired and wireless internet access.
The bathrooms have also had been spruced up. They now feature a multi-function Washlet toilet, a bathtub and a separate rain shower. Furthermore, the mirror above the vanity counter has an inbuilt TV and digital clock.
Renovation of the rest of the property is scheduled to wrap up in October this year with a renewed lobby, driveway, ballroom and F&B outlets.
The Kerry Centre hotel is running a promotion between September 1 and October 15 for stays in the renovated rooms. Prices start from RMB1,888 (US$295), which include a complimentary airport butler and airport transfer by a limousine equipped with wifi internet access.
