Korean Air unveils expanded Incheon lounge

8 Aug 2011 by BusinessTraveller

Korean Air has opened an expanded Prestige Lounge at Incheon International airport, with features including a powder room for female travellers.

The new area is located next to the carrier’s existing Prestige Lounge on the east side of the fourth floor of the departures building, and adds a further 160 seats to the existing 290-seat lounge capacity.

Facilities include a dining room for passengers travelling in groups, individual shower booths, and a dedicated lounge area and powder room for female travellers, which Korean Air says is a first for a Korean airline.

The carrier also plans to upgrade its current First Class lounge, along with the KAL OAL lounge, which is used by Skyteam partners airlines and selected other carriers.

Korean Air recently took delivery of its first A380 superjumbo – for more information click here.
