Video: Lufthansa's A380 VIP layout

16 Jul 2011 by BusinessTraveller

Lufthansa may be operating its A380 passenger aircraft in a three-class layout, but subsidiary Lufthansa Technik has added a YouTube depicting the sort of luxury that the A380 VIP version can offer.

The company’s design engineers develop and build VIP aircraft interiors for private aircraft including the Challenger and Learjet, and larger aircraft such as the A340 and B747.

But Lufthansa has now posted a YouTube concept video of its largest challenge yet – the VIP interiors of the Airbus A380 superjumbo.

The video shows the aircraft’s two-deck, 10,000 square feet of space fitted out with luxury interiors including a forward lounge, conference and dining room, royal lounge, office, guest area, bedrooms and even a fitness centre.

It's unlikely many of us will be flying in a VIP version of the A380, so for a comparison of the six airlines currently operating the superjumbo, including images, videos and seatplans, click here.
