ANA unveils special 787 livery

The launch customer for Boeing's 787 Dreamliner has unveiled a special livery which will feature on the first two aircraft to enter the fleet.

According to the carrier “the number 787 are painted big in bold and blue at the front of the aircraft to signify that ANA will be the first airline in the world to fly the Dreamliner”.

The release adds that “The blue lines at the rear of the fuselage are designed to highlight how the three core elements of the airline’s service brand – innovation, uniqueness and the inspiration of modern Japan – operate across the ANA network”.

Subsequent deliveries to ANA will feature the carrier’s standard livery, as unveiled here in 2009. The carrier has ordered a total of 55 Dreamliner aircraft, with the first set to be delivered “in August or September”.

ANA has also released a YouTube video featuring the interior's of its forthcoming Drealiner aircraft, along with more details on the business and economy seating, and cabin toilets which will feature bidets in all classes - for more information click here.
