United Airlines is offering special round-trip fares for passengers flying between Hong Kong and Singapore during the summer period.
Round-trip economy class ticket fares for passengers departing Hong Kong between now and July 10 start from HK$1,660 (US$212) and rates for flights between now and August 31 start from HK$1,890 (US$242) including fuel surcharges and taxes, though surcharges are subject to change.
Bookings for flights during the first week of July must be made by June 30 and for flights throughout August, bookings must be made by August 30. Passengers can take advantage of this hot deal either by booking online or through travel agents.
United Airlines operates one daily flight between Hong Kong and the Lion city. The flight departs Hong Kong at 2005, arriving in Singapore at 2340, while the return flight departs Singpore at 0605, arriving back in Hong Kong at 0955.
The carrier has recently made strides in enhancing services in its Hong Kong hub. It was the first carrier to roll out mobile boarding passes at HKIA (see story here) and also announced the launch of a daily flight between Hong Kong and Tokyo-Narita from October onwards (see story here), operated by sister carrier Continental, as a way to connect its two major Asian hubs.
