China has announced it will introduce measures to avoid delays of commercial planes leaving and entering the country.
The Chinese air force, responsible for regulating the airspace, will shift military flights from rush hours to less busy hours, as well as extend the daily opening times of airspace.
This move will hopefully reduce flight delays, which are often caused by air traffic control issues. According to a survey by the Civil Aviation Administration of China in 2010, 27.6 percent of airline delays were caused by congestion in the air ways.
