Cathay Pacific Airways has launched an application for BlackBerry PlayBook, ahead of the tablet’s launch in Hong Kong in July.
With the new mobile device, users can download the software, currently only available in English, from BlackBerry App World and start making bookings and checking in for CX flights on the go.
In the meantime, guests visiting The Cabin lounge at Hong Kong International Airport can preview the tablet, pre-installed with the app. An enhanced version of it will be rolled out in August to offer offline destination guides, Google maps and downloadable e-coupons for dining and shopping deals in Hong Kong.
