Update, September 2013: Delta no longer flies out of Gatwick, only Heathrow
Delta’s premium passengers now have access to the new No.1 Traveller lounge at Gatwick’s North Terminal, with facilities including a business centre, free wifi, a bistro area, bar and travel spa.
The new lounge opened last week, joining No.1 Traveller’s existing facility at Gatwick’s South Terminal, and Delta’s BusinessElite, Medallion members and SkyTeam Elite Plus passengers now benefit from free entry.
Features include a business centre with fax, scanning and printing services as well as bookable private meeting rooms, a mini-cinema, two games rooms, free wifi, complimentary bistro-style food and selected alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks.
There is also a travel spa (at additional cost, with treatments starting from £15 for a 15-minute treatment), and guests can also pre-book No.1 Traveller’s chauffeur service (again at additional charge).
No.1 Traveller also has two existing lounges at Stansted airport, and will open a Heathrow T3 facility this August, which will include bedrooms with ensuite showers and on-demand movies – for more information see online news March 25.
