A little exercise goes a long way and it’s important to stay healthy on the road. But when working out at the hotel gym feels tired, business travellers can check out the various fitness classes on offer at the facility for something different. Here are five hotels that provide a choice of fitness sessions to in-house guests:
BURJ AL ARAB

This luxury hotel’s Assawan Spa and Health Club offers spinning classes exclusively for guests staying at the hotel or members of the fitness centre. Other classes include yoga and pilates. The schedule changes each week.

The hotel, which opened in 2009 and has become one of Beijing’s landmarks with its renowned rose-gold façade, has an in-house tai chi master. Though there are no scheduled classes, the master holds classes upon request in Ritan Park (weather permitting), a park that dates back to 1530, originally built as a temple to the sun god.

The gym at this flagship hotel provides guests with a punchy experience by running regular muay thai classes, the traditional Thai combat sport. The facility offers several other classes including Aqua Aerobics and Zumba. Schedules are changed and updated every month.

In the heart of Hong Kong’s financial hub, the Landmark Mandarin Oriental offers different styles of yoga to awaken spirits and encourage a sense of well-being.
