CapitaLand’s first Ascott on French soil – the Ascott Arc de Triomphe – will open in June.
As the name suggests, the location of the 106-unit property, close to the Parisienne landmark in the 16th arrondissement, will be its greatest selling point for the discerning business traveller.
The Ascott Arc de Triomphe, designed by renowned architecture Ricardo Bofill, will also offer guests furnished units ranging from studios to two-bedroom apartments measuring up to 56sqm. Other amenities include a business centre, swimming pool, gym and a residents’ lounge.
The prospective serviced residence provider will fill a gap in the city's serviced residences sector, claimed Tan Choon Kwang, Ascott’s managing director for Europe. He said: “As there is a lack of upscale serviced residences in Paris, we expect strong demand for our flagship Ascott Arc de Triomphe Paris.”
CapitaLand is no newcomer to France, boasting 35 other properties scattered around the country under the Citadines brand. These properties are found in Cannes, Lille, Lyon, Marseille, Nice, Strasbourg and Toulouse.
