Intercontinental launches new meetings package

Intercontinental Hotels has launched Intercontinental Meetings, a programme offering an enhanced, standardised meetings service to its guests.

The new service will be available at over 20 Intercontinental properties across Europe, including London Park Lane, Paris Le Grand and De La Ville Roma.

Features of Intercontinental Meetings include a guarantee of service standards, such as a two-hour response time to confirm bookings, eproposals within 24 hours and assigned Instant Service Managers, who will be available throughout an event to make sure it runs smoothly and to meet delegates’ needs.

Insider Collection is a range of incentive services that each hotel with Intercontinental Meetings will offer corporate groups. It will expand upon what the hotel is able to offer by incorporating “inside knowledge” from local partners in each destination.

This will include the option of alternative locations for meetings or dining, meeting breaks with regional cuisine from local caterers, expert speakers and celebrities to attend meetings, and the chance to take part in community projects and team building activities.

For example, Intercontinental London Park Lane will offer its guests tours of Park Lane’s luxury shopping mall, Burlington Arcade, guided by a beadle, and the option of hosting meetings in Hedsor House (pictured below), a nineteenth century stately home in Buckinghamshire, 40 minutes from London.
