Plans are set to be unveiled next month for a luxury hotel and residences within one of London’s landmark buildings close to the Tower of London.
Singapore real estate and management company the KOP Group has purchased 10 Trinity Square, formerly the home of the Port London Authority.
The building dates back to 1922 and hosted the inaugural meeting of the General Assembly of the United Nations in 1946. The building was damaged in World War II, and rebuilt in the 1970s. The property is located just north of the Tower of London, and close to Tower Hill tube station.
The KOP Group is currently in the process of applying for planning consent for the mixed-use project, which will include “a luxury hotel, residences, a spa, a club and restaurant”, and is due to open in 2014. Business Traveller will publish more details of the plans when they are available.
