Cathay Pacific Airways has announced the latest adjustments to its flight schedules to and from Japan from April 16 until May 31, 2011. Subsidiary Dragonair has also made some changes due to take place from May 1 to May 31.
Select CX flights to Tokyo, Osaka, Nagoya and Sapporo will be grounded within the time frame except on April 28 and 29 for the Easter holidays, and from May 3 to May 8 due to the national Constitution Memorial Day holiday.
CX524 to Tokyo Narita will stay cancelled until May 31, while the CX501 from Narita to Hong Kong will stay cancelled until it resumes services on May 7. CX509 will be cancelled from May 9 to May 31.
From April 16 until May 31, the CX566 HK-Osaka flight and CX567 Osaka-HK flight will be non operational.
Flights CX536 and CX535 between Hong Kong anf Nagoya will stay inactive until May 31. The CX580 to Sapporo and CX581 from Sapporo to Hong Kong will not be flying on Wednesdays and Saturdays from May 1 until May 31.
The carrier will continue to run its daily flights between Hong Kong and Fukuoka via Taipei.
Dragonair's KA386 which flies daily to Fukuoka and KA387 from Fukuoka will not operate on Mondays and Tuesdays except on May 3. On July 3, thrice weekly services to Okinawa will resume.
