8 Apr 2011 by BusinessTraveller

Low-cost carrier Ryanair will fly twice-weekly from London Stansted to Corfu from July, its first route to the Greek island.

Flights will depart on Monday and Thursday at 1145 from London, and at 1620 from Corfu.

The new services adds to Ryanair’s existing flights from Stansted to Rhodes and Thessaloniki, and from Liverpool to Kos.

Easyjet offers a year-round service from London Gatwick to Corfu, and other carriers providing seasonal services from the UK include Monarch, Thomas Cook and Thomson Airways.
