Travellers to Dubai can purchase raffles tickets for the chance to win up to one million Skywards miles, with all proceeds going to charity.
The “Thanks a Million” raffle is raising money for three charities this year - Dubai Centre for Special Needs, Red Crescent and World Food Programme.
Tickets cost Dhs 20 each, and can be bought from Virgin Megastore outlets in Dubai up until March 22, from the Meydan Ticket Sales Centre at Meydan racecourse from March 18-25, or from the racecourse on Dubai World Cup Day on March 26, when the draw will be made.
The grand prize winner will receive one million Skywards miles, with two runner up prizes of 500,000 and 250,000 miles.
Meanwhile Skywards is also offering members triple miles when booking reservations at Atlantis, The Palm before March 31, for stays until December 25. In addition guests will receive 15 per cent off the Best Available Rate, and a further 15 per cent discount at the hotel's attractions and restaurants including Dolphin Bay and ShuiQi Spa.
