AirAsia X, Malaysia-based long-haul budget carrier, has finalised orders for three more Airbus A330-200 aircraft.
The new offerings are scheduled for delivery in 2014 and will be used to expand the carrier’s network in Europe and Asia. The additions will bring its fleet of A330 aircraft to 28 in total.
Azran Osman-Rani, chief executive of AirAsia X, said: “The planes are suitable for future European routes, and also to be used on our London and Paris routes.”
