Etihad Airways promotes tourism in the air

17 Feb 2011

Etihad Airways will equip an Airbus A330-300 aircraft with special livery, highlighting the 2011 "Essential Abu Dhabi" tourism campaign.

The capital of the United Arab Emirates is keen to build up an image as a vibrant leisure and business events destination, the reason for having tapped its flagcarrier to participate in promotion efforts.

The aircraft, featuring not only the tourism-oriented livery but also the new Diamond first class, will be used on services to London, Geneva, Frankfurt, Paris and Mumbai in the coming months.

Furthermore, passengers can use their boarding passes to enjoy discounts and exclusive offers at participating hotels as well as at the Ferrari World and Abu Dhabi Wildlife Centre.
