Starwood's first London property under its trendy W brand has today (February 14) opened its doors to the public.
Business Traveller has closely followed the progress of this much anticipated hotel since it was first announced in September 2008, and was present at a preview last week (see online news February 3). Two and a half years later and the public will finally be able to see the hotel for itself.
W London, with its prime location on the northwest corner of Leicester Square, has 192 guestrooms, including 20 suites and one Extreme WOW Suite on the top floor. Other facilities include a W Lounge, gym and spa, plus its own 38-seat screening room in keeping with its cinematic surroundings.
