Rezidor Hotel Group has unveiled its latest Radisson Blu property in Stockholm, a 414-room hotel attached to the city’s Waterfront Congress Centre.
The Radisson Blu Waterfront Hotel is the 6th property by the brand in the Swedish capital, along with two further hotels under Rezidor’s Park Inn offering. The latest property is attached to the congress centre via the lobby, and features rooms with views of City Hall and Riddarfjarden bay.
Hotel facilities include a fitness centre and Rezidor’s signature RBG Bar and Grill, while the Watefront Congress Centre has a total of 14,000sqm of events space, including a banqueting hall for up to 2,000 guests, and an auditorium accommodating up to 3,000 people.
Both the hotel and congress centre have been designed by Scandinavian architects White, and feature a glass facade which acts as over 1,000sqm of solar panelling, generating an average of 1MW of energy per day.
The complex is located within walking distance of both the city’s central railway station, and the Arlanda Express rail link taking travellers to Stockholm’s largest airport.
