Qatar Airways will increase capacities on its Copenhagen and Barcelona routes from March 27 onwards for the summer period.
The six times weekly service to Copenhagen will be bumped up to include an additional flight on Thursdays, making it a daily service. The additional flight will operate according to the same timetable as the other flights, departing Doha at 0810 and arriving in Copenhagen at 1315. The return leg departs Copenhagen at 1520 and arrives back in Doha at 2335.
On the Doha-Barcelona route, which was launched in June last year, Qatar will start to utilise the larger Airbus A330 instead of the narrowbody A319 in order to increase passenger capacity.
These moves come amidst Qatar’s rigorous expansion across Europe by mounting new flights to Bucharest, Budapest, Brussels and Stuttgart (see story here).
