Starwood Preferred Guest members can earn extra points through the SPG Great Week, Grand Weekends scheme offering members double Star points on weekdays and 500 extra Star points for weekend stays.
The promotion runs from now until April 15, 2011, but to participate members must register online before March 31, 2011. Qualifying stays begin at check-in and end at check-out. Weekend stays are those that fall on Thursdays, Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays.
Members can earn points at 930 participating properties across Starwood’s brands, including Sheraton, Westin, W and St Regis.
Non-members can join Starwood Preferred Guests for free and start earning points through this scheme on their first eligible stay.
