Doha-based Qatar Airways will launch routes to Bucharest, Budapest and Brussels this month, along with flights to Stuttgart in March and increased capacity on routes to Copenhagen and Barcelona.
Four-times weekly flights to Bucharest (continuing on to Budapest) will launch on January 17, while a five-times weekly service to Brussels will commence on January 31. These new routes will then be joined by thrice weekly flights to Stuttgart on March 6.
Meanwhile the carrier is also increasing the number of flights on its Copenhagen service from six-times weekly to daily from March 27, and effectively doubling capacity on its daily Barcelona service by swapping the existing Airbus A319 aircraft operating the route for a larger A330.
Qatar Airways also recently introduced its flagship Boeing 777 aircraft on to the daily Doha-Madrid route, replacing the A330 previously serving the Spanish capital.
