New Delhi's satellite city Gurgaon is richer by a second Westin property. The Westin Gurgaon New Delhi has just opened, two years after the Westin Sohna Resort.
Located on the national highway within the CBD and 15 minutes away from Indira Gandhi’s International Airport, the 313-room property strongly caters for the business traveller. It features a 24-hour business centre and 10 meeting spaces, measuring an area of 1,360sqm. All are equipped with wifi internet access and complete audio-visual technology. The largest meeting space measures up to 515 square-metres.
Additionally, the hotel has conceived the Aura rooms – seven in total – for the single female traveller, marked by enhanced security features and served by an all female staff.
Other amenities include the brand’s signature Heavenly Spa, which will open in February next year, gym, an outdoor swimming pool (only operational after December 28, 2010) and a kid’s club, which will also open early 2011, hosting activities for kids aged 3 to 12. There are five dining options and one lounge.
