Belfast International and George Best Belfast City Airport have closed their runways today following last night’s snowfall, which affected much of Scotland and northern England.
All other UK airports are open, although delays in Edinburgh, Aberdeen and Glasgow are causing knock-on effects on domestic services across the country.
Both Belfast International and Belfast City have closed their runways, issuing statements this morning asking passengers to contact their airlines before travelling. Belfast City said it expects to resume services by midday today.
All other airports are reporting normal service albeit with some delays. London City Airport, via Twitter, said it was “business as usual”.
Cardiff Airport is reporting cancellations on flights from Amsterdam “due to weather in UK and Europe”.
