Air France (AF) and Saudi Arabian Airlines (SV) have signed a code-share agreement, effective January 10, 2011.
The arrangement will result in daily flights between Paris and Jeddah as well as a six times a week service between Paris and Riyadh. Airbus A330s and A320s are used on these routes.
The move also sees SV’s operations at Paris CDG shifting from Terminal 1 to Terminal 2, while Air France will operate from the southern terminal of King Abdulaziz International airport in Jeddah. Customers of both airlines will benefit further through future reciprocal use of airport lounges and being able to earn miles on either of their frequent flyer schemes.
