Best Western sets up shop in Seoul's Silicon Valley

12 Dec 2010

Best Western International opens its sixth property in Seoul – Best Western Premier Guro Hotel – and its ninth in South Korea. “Premier” is the brand’s upscale tier.

The 200-room property is located in an area known as Korea’s “Silicon Valley”, the Guro Digital Complex. Categories available include Best Western’s signature double, twin, residence and suites which all offer complimentary internet access. Free wifi is also provided in the public areas.

Business travellers can make use of the business centre at the hotel and the two function rooms. The smaller of the two rooms can accommodate up to 70 guests and the larger takes up to 300 guests. All members of the Best Western Rewards scheme can opt for the express check-in facility in a separate VIP counter, regardless of tier. Other facilities include a restaurant, coffee shop, lounge and gym.

The company recently announced it was powering growth in Asia with a new “premium economy” room category. See news.

Promotional opening rates start from US$79. For more information, visit www.bestwestern.com
