Langham Place hotel will unveil their Essential Place Plus rooms on January 1, 2011, which will come with several unique technological amenities, including an iPhone 4.
The new products rooms – 72 units – will occupy floors 30 to 33. Each iPhone 4 will carry a Hong Kong SIM card, enabling the guest to make free local calls and access the internet while on the move. The gadget will also have a Chinese-English translator, city maps, Mass Transit Railway guide, a restaurant locator and several other lifestyle applications.
Other room highlights include complimentary wifi, a Bose SoundDock, a DVD player and a Cisco Internet Protocol telephone as well as floor-to-ceiling windows.
The rooms can now be booked with rates starting from HK$2,000 (US$257) per night.
