Marriott will bring its luxury JW offering to Cannes next year, with the rebranding of the 261-room Palais Stephanie Hotel as the JW Marriott Hotel Cannes.
Located on Cannes' La Croisette on the site of the city's former Palais des Festivals, the hotel will be rebranded in early 2011.
The property has recently been renovated, and features “modern, vibrant design reflecting its glamorous film heritage, paying tribute to the legendary film stars of the past including Sophia Loren, Brigitte Bardot, and Elizabeth Taylor”.
Facilities include a rooftop heated swimming pool and spa bath, a private beach, La Scena Lounge Bar and Restaurant serving Italian, Japanese and French cuisine, 16 meeting rooms and a 820-seat auditorium.
