Alex McWhirter led a triple prize-winning haul for the Business Traveller team at last night’s 2010 Business Travel Journalism Awards.
The magazine’s consumer editor won the Journalists’ Business Travel Journalist of the Year award, decided by a private ballot of journalists at the event at London’s May Fair hotel.
Deputy editor Michelle Mannion won the Best Newcomer to Business Travel Journalism award, while sub-editor/staff writer Jenny Southan was named the Environmental Journalist of the Year.
Business Traveller's Guide to Heathrow Airport (which can be downloaded free on this site) and the Airline Survey, were short-listed for Best Business Travel Supplement.
The awards were organised by Carlson Wagonlit Travel and judged by a panel of journalists, business travel managers and industry experts.
