Business Traveller China will be hosting its annual Reader’s Poll Awards ceremony this evening at the Shanghai Marriott Changfeng Park balloom.
The ceremony, now on its sixth year, provides magazine subscribers a chance to reward travel and hospitality providers which have made their journeys comfortable and productive. The magazine, targeted at China's growing number of frequent travellers, was launched in 2002.
Sister publication Business Traveller Asia-Pacific also gave out its own set of awards in September.
The two publications are simultaneously running a Silent Auction to raise funds for their long-time beneficiary – Chi Heng Foundation. The organisation promotes the cause of AIDS-impacted children in China and works to provide them with access to a education and job opportunities.
A list of the winners will be posted later this evening.
