The US hotel loyalty programme is celebrating the addition of its 100th partner hotel by giving one lucky member 100,000 Stash points, enough for a week’s stay at selected properties.
Launched earlier this year (see online news May 26), Stash Hotel Rewards partnes with independent US hotels in cities including LA, San Diego, San Francisco, and Seattle, with members earning five Stash points for every dollar spent on eligible room rates.
The scheme has now reached the 100-hotel landmark, and to celebrate it is giving one lucky member 100,000 points, worth between US$500 and US$1,500 depending on which hotel the points are redeemed at.
Existing members are automatically entered into the prize draw, and new members can register between now and December 10 to be eligible. Members can also earn extra entries by inviting friends to join the scheme.
Commenting on the expansion of the programme, chief executive Jeff low said:
“Increasingly, travellers will find great independent hotels offering Stash points almost anywhere they go. For example, members can soon earn Stash points at 17 hotels in the Bay Area, seven in Seattle, six in New York City, and four in metro Atlanta. In fact, in a number of cities, hotels offering Stash points will outnumber hotels affiliated with some of the big-chain rewards programmes.”
