Hilton’s budget Hampton brand has opened its first property in continental Europe, a 214-room hotel in the German city of Berlin.
Hampton by Hilton Berlin City West is located in the western part of the city, within walking distance of the Kaiser Wilhelm Memorial Church, the Berlin Zoo and Aquarium, and the Kurfuerstendamm shopping district.
The hotel features four meeting rooms, a fitness centre, free onsite parking, internet access and hot breakfast, and rooms on the seventh floor have individual terraces with views of the city.
Hampton by Hilton recently announced it is to open UK properties at Exeter and Gatwick airports (see online news September 23 and October 19), and has existing hotels in Birmingham, Shrewsbury, Braintree, Corby and Liverpool John Lennon airport.
