Dutch carrier KLM will launch a four-times weekly service to Miami next year, a route it last operated in 2004.
The flights will launch on March 27, 2011, the start of the summer schedules, and will be plied with MD-11 aircraft, configured for 24 business class seats, 38 Economy Comfort seats (the carrier’s quasi-premium economy product), and 223 economy seats.
KLM suspended its service between Amsterdam and Miami in September 2004, but will now operate it as part of the joint venture agreement between Air France, KLM, Delta Airlines and Alitalia.
