The Irish carrier will serve the French capital three-times weekly from Shannon, following Ryanair’s decision to drop flights to Beauvais airport from November 1.
Aer Lingus will commence flights between Shannon and Paris CDG on December 17, with services on Monday, Friday and Sunday.
Ryanair recently announced it would cut flights at Shannon by 21 per cent, citing the airport’s decision to increase passenger fees from November 1. The carrier’s flights between Shannon and Beauvais airport (located around 50 miles north of Paris) will cease on the same date, and frequencies on routes from Shannon to Gatwick and Stansted will also be reduced.
