Cebu Pacific offers web check-in for international flights

23 Oct 2010

Cebu Pacific (CEB) will start web check-in services today for all international flights from Ninoy Aquino International Airport Terminal 3, the first Philippine carrier to do so.

Customers of the low-cost carrier will not only be able to check-in online for their flights but select seats and print boarding passes as well. They can do this from 48 hours to four hours before departure.

Users have to go to cebupacificair.com and click on the “Manage Booking” icon. After retrieving and reviewing the booking, they select and pay for their seats. Exit row seats cost P200 (US$4.60) and for other rows, the fee is P100 (US$2.30). They must answer security questions before being allowed to print out their boarding passes.

At the airport, they can head for two web check-in counters where their travel documents will be verified and bags checked-in.

According to Candice Iyog, CEB vice-president for marketing and distribution, online check-in will be extended to their domestic operations by year-end.
